Description

Summary of Position

Provide customer support for Summit Church staff on a variety of technology related issues. Be the primary contact and first responder when user tickets are created. Respond and clarify the customer’s issue, then select and explain the best solution to resolve the issue. If solution is not present then escalate to IT team. Follow up to ensure customer’s issue has been resolved.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Exceptional people and communication skills

  • Ability to communicate and translate a technical solution to end users

  • Working knowledge of popular software, hardware, and operating systems

  • Excellent troubleshooting ability

  • Detail oriented and able to work independently or in a team

  • A member of the Summit Church or willing & able to become a member

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Respond, research, and resolve software and hardware related tickets generated by users

  • Communicate with users throughout the process of restoring service

  • Assist in deploying new software and hardware as directed

  • Document and update common solutions and how-to guides in IT Knowledge Base

  • Escalate and communicate with IT Systems Administrator as needed

  • Perform basic asset and inventory management tasks

  • Provide on-call customer support for campuses during weekend services
