Who YOU are:

You are a tenacious and collaborative Sales leadership professional, seeking to build and strengthen relationships with clients and key contacts, ensuring that the individual needs of the client are met. You have experience developing a market strategy for your team that aligns with annual goals and take a proactive role in identifying areas where your team may be struggling. You create and implement growth and development plans for sales team members and conduct monthly performance reviews.

 

You are a HUNTER and a NURTURER, guaranteeing the ability to maintain the needs of your existing clients, all while pursuing and establishing new relationships. You are comfortable relying on your team as they are reliant upon you. You are excited to become an expert in your assigned market within your territory while growing and mentoring your team.

 

A few key responsibilities:

Market Sales Operations

  • In partnership with their Regional Director, develop a market sales strategy for their team that aligns to annual goals.
  • With their Regional Director and their sales team, develop account based strategies for developing new and expanding existing clients within their assigned territories.
  • Embrace Cella’s overall sales architecture that promotes the pursuit of Consulting, Staffing and Managed Services opportunities
  • Take an active role in the regional daily orders meetings and facilitate an efficient and succinct sprint meeting to review and assign support against open orders, and set the daily priorities for their sales team.
  • Conduct individual performance appraisals of team members and take needed action regarding their progress/results. 

Sales Staff Development

  • The MSM is responsible for the on-going professional development of their assigned team.
  • Conducts and/or delegates weekly training, or Lunch & Learns with their teams regarding sales best practices, strategy sessions, consultative sales techniques, Cella proprietary offerings, Cella Marketing campaigns and/or events, operational standards and industry trends.
  • Holds monthly performance reviews with their teams regarding opportunity pipelines, placement results, performance against goals and performance against standard KPI’s.

Personal Sales Production

  • Lead by example by enforcing operational best practices (OBPs), maintain Cella’s core values, and foster a positive culture.
  • The role of the MSM is to predominantly lead successful teams and gain the fullest level of utilization, results and quality from the teams they are entrusted to lead.
  • The role requires a “whatever is needed” mindset that will require the MSM to take an active role in selling within their market. It is expected that the MSM will manage a smaller number of clients (active and under development) than their staff with a special emphasis on significantly critical clients, or those with lengthy development timelines in order to absolve their staff for excessive time waste.

What WE expect:

  • 2 – 5 years experience leading and managing a high-performing consultative sales team within the staffing industry.
  • 3+ years of Creative staffing sales or 5+ years sales experience selling professional services staffing is required.
  • Documented history of personal and team-based success.
  • Proven sales record closing complex sales in the solutions and staffing space within large and nationally/globally distributed customers.
  • Professional communication skills that include comfort in presenting services at all levels of a client organization and via various mediums (live Power-Point presentations, virtually hosted presentations, and general phone and/or web conference) as well as at live industry events.
  • Knowledge of strategic selling concepts and consultative sales (formal training or certifications preferred).
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
