Position Summary

The position will provide support to data analytics department and will report to the Senior Director of IT and Data Analytics. This position will attend to any data and customer service requests and provide support while maintaining data integrity and excellent organizational skills. Data Services Coordinator will be working closely with Analysts and IT team, adhering to confidentiality, legal and regulatory standards among other duties.

Essential Job Duties

  1. Track daily customer service request
  2. Provide support to staff, program, donor, and volunteer end-users
  3. Using SQL, Looker and similar software to run data queries
  4. Performing data and other requests in a timely manner
  5. Systematically clean up data sources, bulk mailing, and other internal systems
  6. Maintaining data integrity and security, taking precautions when handling personally identifiable data
  7. Preparing data for meetings, presentations and/or training
  8. Communicate effectively via email, phone and face-to-face.
  9. Adhering to legal, regulatory standards and company data guidelines
  10. Attend and participate in all Mission, Division and Department meetings and training, as required.
  11. Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time; bend, stoop or reach.
  2. Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
  3. Talk on telephone and use computer extensively.

Education

BA/BS Degree in information systems or related field with knowledge of relational databases

 

Experience

Work experience in non-profit data or system, customer service support is strongly preferred

Work experience in multiple relational databases is required

SQL Server Management Studio and Excel experience is required
