The Systems Administrator is the first line of support for BBOK's staff. This position must have a strong working knowledge of desktop administration, patch management utilities, anti-virus/anti-malware systems, and desktop operating systems.


Position responsibilities include:

  • Desktop Support
  • Hardware Hardening and Deployment
  • Asset Management
  • Monthly and Weekly Audits
  • SIEM Familiarity
  • Server Health Monitoring
  • Antivirus Administration
  • Software Licensing
  • Patch Management
  • Mobile Device Deployment and Management
  • Back-up/Replication Administration
  • Disaster Recovery Administration and Training
  • Maintaining strong user security through appropriate controls
  • Complying with BBOK policies and FFIEC Guidelines
  • IT Vendor Management 

We are looking for a team member who is very well organized and able to document processes. Good communication and interpersonal skills are important. The person in this position must be able to function well as part of a team.


Other qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree, technical training, or three years of experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Server and Desktop operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of PC/Server hardware (A+ training)
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • Working Network Knowledge for Troubleshooting (Network + training)
  • Working Linux Administration knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Batch Scripts.
  • Basic AWS knowledge.
  • Must be self-motivated, independent, and have the ability to follow directions and complete tasks without constant supervision.
