Function:
The function of the System Tech Lighting - I is to set up, operate, and maintain entertainment lighting equipment. The ideal candidate is an experienced technician with excellent interpersonal skills who can uphold Clearwing standards and provide professional customer service both in-house and on job sites.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Calculates basic power consumption for systems
- Performs basic rigging tasks while on site such as flying motors, setting up scaffolding, and wrapping truss

- Identifies basic electrical or mechanical problems on site and resolves them quickly
- Read plots, loom list, channel hook-ups and any other relevant paperwork to a show and applies to the prep and execution of the show
- Assemble and build basic data racks
- Lead a small crew of people effectively
- Works with warehouse staff to prep, pull, pack, test, and maintain gear
