Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous Operations (janitorial/laundry) experience preferred.
- Previous Shelter operations experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with homeless populations.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment. Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and ability to walk multiple flights of stairs carrying at least 25 lbs required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
