MIND Research Institute is looking for a Social Impact Development Director with experience developing new philanthropic partnerships to accomplish this! This role will work closely with the grants team and school partnerships team to strategize and execute plans to increase our pipeline of prospective partners and ultimately build new philanthropic partnerships to support MINDs mission.
The Social Impact Development Director will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, proposing, and negotiating partnerships with corporations, family foundations and individual donors within existing and new industry verticals. They will be the first point of contact between MIND and future strategic partners so they must have or develop a deep knowledge of: the value of MIND as an organization; ST Math as an innovative, neuroscience and evidence-based program; our vision of the future of education where equity is at its core; and the impact that our strategic partnerships have on students, schools, families and communities.
This position reports to the EVP/Executive Director of Social Impact and will be an integral part of a small team that is collectively responsible for a growing portfolio currently worth approximately $8M in annual grants. To be successful, they need to be extremely self-driven, intentionally collaborative, highly organized, and an excellent listener.
