Position Overview

The Associate Product Line Manager researches the market, creates the product line plans, guides product development, and achieves financial targets to ensure the growth and health of our business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Market research involving global consumer insights, sales channel trends, and industry data
  • Global SWOT development
  • Analyzing product line sales performance to optimize productivity
  • Competitor analysis
  • Customer segmentation and targeting
  • Product line and model positioning
  • Line plan development and communication
  • Product brief development and communication
  • Merchandising plan
  • Guide global pricing, sales programs, and forecasting
  • Maintain financial model and set product cost targets
  • Product life cycle planning
  • Material master information completeness and accuracy
  • Drive creation of product communication materials
  • Train sales force on product details

Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree in marketing, business, or similar.
  • Extensive knowledge of the global snowboarding consumers
  • Extensive knowledge of the competitive landscape for snowboarding products
  • Snowboard retail and/or sales work experience desired
  • Excellent work ethic and enthusiasm
  • Great leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and manage projects
  • Self-directed and motivated
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe products
  • Comfortable giving presentations to audiences and for informational recordings
  • Snowboarding enthusiast capable of testing product and discerning performance characteristics

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to enter data for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • May be required to lift 15-50 pounds occasionally
