Job Summary

We are looking for a detail oriented, hardworking and enthusiastic individual for our Commercial Loan Processor II position!

 

The Commercial Loan Processor II can accurately process loan documentation in accordance with compliance and safety and soundness regulations as well as to Core Bank policies and guidelines. Follows up and maintains accurate loan data and loan files. Provides loan administration support to internal and external customers.

 

The Commercial Loan Processor II's responsibilities include:

  • Prepare commercial loan documentation in accordance with compliance and safety & soundness regulations as well as to Core Bank policies and guidelines.
  • Cross-train in real estate and consumer loan processing
  • Disburse loan proceeds
  • Pay bills associated with loan closings
  • Send loan collateral documents to various government entities for recording
  • Organize and maintain accurate loan file documentation via the FileBound and/or DocMan archival system.
  • Follow-up on loan file exceptions and ensure that all documents are received in order to complete and close the loan file
  • Assist lenders in following up their loan file exceptions, when appropriate
  • Order appraisals
  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers
  • Utilize core system, FIS, to obtain loan or deposit account information relating to an internal or external customer request
  • Prepare adverse action notices for consumer and commercial loans
  • Gather and compile information to complete the HMDA-LAR

 

 

Qualifications
  • 2 years experience in Commercial Loan document processing
  • Understand commercial loan structuring, Line of Credits, Straight Line of Credits, Draw Down Lines, Construction, irregular payment streams
  • Be able to identify the difference between a Guarantor and a Grantor
  • Ability to identify Reg B (1-4 family appraisal disclosure- 1st liens)
  • Participation experience
  • experience with 3rd party (attorney) prepared documentation
  • Ability to read/assess entity Articles of Incorporation, Certificate of Organization, Bylaws/Operating Agreements
  • SBA knowledge preferred
  • LaserPro experience preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with loans and internal bank operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
