Senior Solution Architect

One Inc has an Insurance Payments SaaS Software Architect opportunity. This position requires excellent technical skills and outstanding analytical and influencing skills paired with strong business insight and SaaS product development experiences. It is a multi-functional role that requires alignment building and communication within a fast-growing organization.

Open to Fully Remote, Flex (1-3 days/week in the office), or Office-Based (4-5 days/week in office)

Responsibilities/Duties

• Oversees and drives the end-to-end architecture of the products
• Determines overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards
• Crafts solutions that are enterprise scalable and maintainable
• Drive strategic technology initiatives, working with Product Managers, other Architects, Engineers, SME's and the broader One Inc organization
• Works in a consultative fashion to improve communication, teamwork, and alignment among teams inside and outside of the organization.
• Analyzes and provides feedback on product strategy
• Provides input into long-range product requirements, standard methodologies, and operational guidelines, with focus on continuous improvement of platform reliability and serviceability
• Drives research, case studies, and prototypes on cutting edge technologies and how they can be used
• Defines inbound and outbound payment processing platforms for onboarding, communications, customer experience, portals, reporting and analytics. Be an overall product expert.
• Develops technical performance architecture that solves most complex performance issues.
• Defines payments API strategy and integration patterns.
• Ensures that we are continuously raising our standard of engineering excellence
• Leads a global team of solution architects, staff and software engineers, QA, QAA professionals

Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with cloud native architecture
• Expert in C#, ,NET Core, Azure.
• Proficiency in TDD, Domain Driven Architecture, CQRS, Design Patterns, and Clean and Secure Coding Standards.
• Experience working as an architect in insure-tech or fin-tech space with demonstrated success at designing for high volume, scale and availability.
• Large scale implementations of Cloud Native Solutions, Containers, Microservices
• Mastery in multiple programming languages and platforms
• More than 10 years of software development experience
• Ability to independently craft and deliver large complex projects
• Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g., Scrum), Scaled frameworks desirable
• Experience with international platform/product developer desirable (multilingual, multi-currency, data protection/privacy) desirable

Leadership and Influence

• Ability to provide coaching to team members to support their understanding of the architecture and aid in their technical development
• Ability to work with other architects, principal architects, and Chief Security and Information Officers to shape the architectural vision and roadmap for the organization.
• Ability to drive long-term design strategies that span multiple complex projects, deliver technical reports and performance presentations to customers and at industry events
• Ability to build an environment for transparent and open discussion of all issues
• Inclusive work style to involve the right people, from your team and others, to resolve critical issues.
• 15 years experience in the Information Technology arena, at least 3 years management or leadership experience in this field
