Provides support to all levels of repairs and maintenance for St Mary Parish.

Direct Manager: Maintenance Supervisor

Guidance & Inspiration: Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary


Non-Exempt, Hourly, Full time: 40 hours per week with benefits

Able to work flexible schedule as necessary (nights, weekends routinely required)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (to include but not limited to):

  • Work Assignments
    • Performs service requests ensuring client satisfaction and on time performance
    • Assists the Director of Facilities with project management support for all major projects
    • Replenishes all Church and Pastoral Center restrooms with various sundries
    • Performs various maintenance and janitorial duties as requested
    • Advises Director of Facilities of those requests that are beyond their technical ability
  • Campus Safety
    • Ensures campus grounds and exterior lighting are kept clean, neat, and safe, and in proper working order
    • Assists with snow removal of campus sidewalks and parking areas
    • Advises Director of Facilities of all equipment not in safe and proper working orde
  • Preventative Maintenance
    • Assists with the inspection of the facilities in the detection of needed maintenance to ensure proper repair
    • Assists the Director of Facilities in the implementation of a proactive preventative maintenance program
    • Performs activities associated with preventative maintenance
  • Administrative
    • Completes daily work reports with clarity and accuracy
    • Responds to out of hours calls when requested
    • Maintains inventory of the Church and Pastoral Center janitorial supplies
