JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:                     HR Assistant Recruiter

Department:               Human Resources

Status:                        Full-time, Hourly

Reports to:                 Manager, Human Resources

General Description: The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks including answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, mail distribution, flow of correspondence and provide support to the HR department in duties like posting job ads, updating HR database and processing employee requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and directing phone calls to relevant staff
  • Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel or department
  • Support other teams with various administrative tasks such as distributing correspondence, and reserving conference rooms for meetings
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders
  • Assist with FedEx shipping
  • Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Responsible for timely delivery of employee anniversary cards and processing anniversary gifts for employees with a milestone anniversary
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to post job ads on careers pages and assist screening incoming applications
  • Assist applicants with online application process and provide information of open positions
  • Assist with post offer screening process
  • Assist Human Resources with new hire onboarding
  • Assist internal customers with Paycom application related questions
  • Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in fast paced, dynamic environments a plus.
  • Ability to produce high quality work, be flexible, and anticipate business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to engage others in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
  • Ability and desire to work as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate policies, common sense, judgment and business needs
  • A great sense of humor and the ability to view challenges as opportunities, not crises
