The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) at Rockhurst University seeks a 9-month Exercise Science/Health Science faculty member.  Teaching, scholarship, and service expectations are dependent upon applicant education level, experience, and background.

Required qualifications for the positions include:

• Terminal academic degree within the field or a Master-level degree with a record of extensive contribution to the profession
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• A commitment to interprofessional collaboration, service, and teaching methods to develop reflective leaders in health and human services which are ethical, inclusive, and compassionate professionals

Preferred qualifications for the positions include:

• Terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, DHS)
• Candidates who have made significant progress towards a terminal degree are encouraged to apply
• Teaching experience in the Exercise Science and/or Health Science fields
• Record of scholarship and a defined research agenda
• Record of service to the profession and/or community
• Professional certification in a related field (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, NASM)
• Interest in program leadership and program development
