Summary of Position

A high-capacity leader with a passion and vision to serve The Summit Church by helping our kids team think and execute the ministry creatively and effectively in all environments, at all events, and in the weekly teaching content. 


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in graphic design, art direction, and brand management 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in communications/creative position preferred 

  • Kids Ministry experience

  • Organizational Proficiency

  • Leadership skills

  • A member of the Summit Church or willing & able to become a member



  • Edit and publish weekend Gospel Project content

  • Support Summit Kids staff by creating excellent curriculum that adapts well to each of our venues

  • Support Summit Kids staff on the execution of weekly large group teaching, both Sunday and AWANA, to ensure a high degree of creativity, top notch teaching, and fun in those environments. 

  • Support Summit Kids Pastor in creation of special event curriculum and creative strategy for critical events: VBS, Kids Camp, Family Worship Night, Parent Equip, Easter, Launch Weekend, etc

  • Support Summit Kids Pastor to ensure consistency within Summit Kids environments

  • Edit AWANA curriculum as needed

  • Support Summit Kids Pastor in creative writing projects

Family Ministry Team Member Responsibilities

  • Be a part of and contribute to the all-campus kids staff meeting (2x/month)

  • Assist in the overall health of the family ministry team

  • Serve at church-wide events in the roles needed in Summit Kids (Christmas at DPAC, Conferences, All-Campus Prayer Nights, etc)
