Description

DUTIES:

  • Consults with the CEO to provide financial analysis and strategic direction on projects, product development and growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for ongoing accounting functions for the organization including but not limited to:
    • Accounts Payable and Receivable;
    • Cash management and daily cash flow analysis;
    • General ledger management; and
    • Period-end financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Oversees the organization’s banking activities including:
    • Dailey revenue receipts and posting;
    • Dailey fraud management; and
    • Monthly reconciliation.
  • Oversees internal and external auditing activities.
  • Oversees preparation of the annual financial statement and the 990.
  • Maintains the organization’s contracts.  Assists operation management teams regarding vendor contract negotiations and compliance, as necessary.
  • Oversees annual budget preparation.  Provides periodic budget variance analysis.
  • Establishes and maintains accounting systems to assure appropriate internal controls.
  • Responsible for the management of the organization’s fixed assets and financial records.
  • Other duties as required to fulfill the organization’s mission and vision.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION:      Bachelor’s degree in finance, business development or other relevant area

 

LICENSURE:       Prefer CPA

 

EXPERIENCE:    5 years of progressively responsible finance or business development

                              Prefer blood center experience
