The Digital Specialist will be responsible for working with account teams, cross-functional teams and clients to develop and contribute to strategies that leverage the power of the entire digital ecosystem, with a focus on search engine optimization and web experience.  


  • Assist in the development of digital plans and execution of digital channels, including web, mobile, email, SEO, with a focus on social media. 

  • Work alongside agency cross-functional teams to develop fully integrated digital marketing strategies and solutions that deliver on our clients’ business and marketing objectives. 

  • Candidate must be a problem-solver and innovator who will look for ideas and solutions through analytics, technology trends and audience insights to influence brand/marketing strategies.  

  • Provide expertise and focus on search engine marketing, including website audits and optimization, keyword research, content optimization, paid search integration and web reporting. 




Digital Marketing


  • Provide consultation and guidance on various areas of online marketing communications (Web/CRM/mobile/social/email/SEO). 

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of digital strategies, campaigns and platforms, including search engine optimization, social media, website/landing page development, CRM/automation, email marketing, and other emerging technologies.

  • Work with digital lead and account teams to help define scope and recommended approach for digital projects.

  • Develop unique strategies and build upon current client strategies within the digital arena to meet/exceed client objectives. 

  • Support digital strategy status updates, strategic conversations and investigation.

  • Identify key digital trends and insights to make business decisions. 

  • Leverage research tools and data to form strategic approaches that are driven by actionable insights.

  • Manage and assist in analytics reporting, evaluation and insights derived from digital marketing campaigns.

  • Utilize Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and Tableau in conjunction with other reporting services to track metrics and refine client strategies. 

  • Collaborate with media team to complement online buys by providing guidance and strategic recommendations for social media advertising, email and search engine marketing. 

  • Support team in providing digital marketing coaching, professional development and training to 2RM associates.

  • Support overall agency digital marketing efforts, including contributing to social media, blogs, email/marketing automation, webinars and new business efforts as needed. 

  • Work with team to continually assess and improve the types and levels of digital marketing services the agency provides.

  • Responsible for the execution of communication plans designed to improve clients’ relationships with customers, improve customer retention and drive sales growth.  

  • Support client status calls and day-to-day communication with client contacts.


Agency SME: Search Engine Marketing & Optimization 


  • Provide expertise and focus on search engine marketing, including website audits and optimization, keyword research, content optimization, paid search integration and web reporting. 

  • Serve as an agency subject matter expert, resource and thought leader for search engine marketing and associated platforms, including Moz, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics and more.

  • Ensure availability to internal teams as opportunities arise requiring SEO knowledge and support.

  • Responsible for the execution of optimization research, audits and long-term SEO plans designed to improve clients’ SERP visibility, site health and paid search integration.

  • Consult with accounts across the agency in search engine marketing planning initiatives.

  • Manage execution of search marketing strategies from planning and research, through optimization and reporting. 

  • Follow best practices for on-page optimization, link building, error resolution, schema markup, keyword research, metadata development and technical page structure to support SEO and organic traffic. 

  • Research and report on search engine marketing trends, changes and developments.

  • Acquire and maintain relevant SEO and SEM certifications, including but not limited to Google, Moz, SEMRush and HubSpot. Attend related trainings and seminars to continue search engine marketing education.  

Skills Required


  • A strong understanding of all aspects of digital marketing.

  • In-depth knowledge, expertise of SEO, including technical SEO. 

  • Superior communication skills, both internal and client facing.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, time management, and organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams.

  • Effective time management as well as strong organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to monitor and adhere to budgets and schedules.

  • Strong interest in technology and digital marketing.

  • Strong desire to expand digital knowledge to include social media, email marketing, mobile, web and app dev. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field is preferred.

  • 3+ years of full-time experience in digital marketing, advertising or public relations.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience executing search engine marketing strategies.
