Interlake Mecalux is hiring an Industrial Sales Representative to join our sales team, working remotely in Columbia, SC.
The Industrial Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of racking and storage solutions within the state of South Carolina, with most business being in Columbia, SC.
- Manage customer relationships by continuously updating and training racking or material handling dealers, distributors, systems integrators, and end-users on our racking products and applications.
- Visit dealers, distributors, and end-users in territory in order to strengthen existing relationships, follow up on leads and quotes, and close business.
- Conduct sales presentations, complete sales calls, manage sales order negotiations, and oversee the execution of sales orders
- Utilize market research to develop sales opportunities which will assure market performance and penetration in support of business initiatives
- Partner with customers to develop long term relationships, generate additional sales, and guide problem resolution discussions.
- Develop monthly and weekly sales plans that include prospecting activities and forecasts.
- Ensure completion of customer projects through the coordination of engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service activities.
- Update daily the lead, quote, and order activity in company's CRM software, CIM. Keep CIM updated daily.
