Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Skills Development Specialist to add to our team of professionals.  This position will work in our Child & Family Services Division.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Provide case management, skills training/development, and other services to children and their families.  
  • Case management includes but is not limited to communicating with all parties involved in the individual/family's treatment; identifying treatment needs and facilitating all necessary referrals; coordinating and attending collateral meetings with all parties involved in the treatment process.

 WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice or other related degrees.  Experience working with children who have serious emotional disturbances is preferable.  
  • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement, and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
