JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Associate Provost of Academic Curriculum, several academic departments housed on the 3rd floor of LTOW , and the Office of Admissions seek a candidate who will have a positive disposition and reflect a Christ-like attitude when interacting with faculty, staff, current students, prospective students, and visitors. The primary roles of the position are to help faculty and staff with projects and general administrative tasks.  The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, a self-starter, and able to handle sensitive material and information with confidentiality.  The successful candidate must take initiative, be organized, take direction well, and have good writing and communication skills.  This position will split time between two departments and two buildings (Lindner Tower and Barton House), will work with a variety of faculty and staff, and will have a dual report to the Associate Provost of Academic Curriculum and the Executive Vice President. The successful candidate should also have a good sense of humor! 

Duties include, but are not limited to the following: greeting visitors and welcoming people who come into the Lindner Tower 3rd floor and Barton House, answering main phone lines, monitoring general emails, assisting with advising of undergraduate students, proctoring exams, data entry, managing schedules, and other general administrative duties to support both areas.

Equipment Used: Computer and related software, printer, copier, scanner.

Software Used: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Salesforce CRM.

Social Media: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter – the position may be asked to post to keep sites current.

Hours: 29 hours a week.  Set times Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM will be determined and scheduled based on availability.
