HR Generalist II

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time HR Generalist II to work in our corporate office supporting our employees throughout the country. Complete Mobile Dentistry, Inc. places dental professionals on military bases to provide exceptional care to our service members. We are seeking to add a positive, detail and team-oriented member to our team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer and review benefit programs, including open enrollment, new hire benefits education, online benefits administration, compliance and audits and integration of new benefit programs following government contract awards.
  • Prepare and distribute written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits and compensation policies.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, SCA and local legal requirements by staying up to date on existing and new legislation while enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Monitor the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) for updates and ensure all CMD held Government Contracts subject to the SCA are in compliance.
  • Monitor ACA compliance through third-party payroll vendor’s ACA portal.
  • Provide Guidance on SCA issues.
  • Collaborate with contracted TPA ensuring Health and Welfare administration and record keeping is in compliance with SCA regulations.
  • With guidance from HR Director, serve as the "go-to" person for HR related questions regarding benefits, pay, and compliance.  Resolves issues as they arise with support from internal resources, as needed.
  • Create and maintain census reports for insurance brokers.
  • Partner with accounting to verify insurance premium invoices for accuracy and reconcile premiums against employees’ respective payroll deductions.
  • Works closely with Payroll Specialist to ensure controls and processes are in place for data entry of benefit deductions and retirement deferrals.
  • Complete Accident Investigations, submit Workers Compensation Claims, and ensure corrective action is completed for reported incidents.
  • Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
  • Create and manage job descriptions.
  • Performs data entry into HR and other systems relative to benefit eligibility, changes, terminations and other data points. Ensures data accuracy and integrity, in addition to timely entry.
  • Partners with the HR Business Partner on administering Wellness programs (Coordination of Mental Health programs, Biometric Screenings, Health Fairs, etc.).
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Helps to maintain Affirmative Action program, conduct EEO reporting and other government compliance reporting.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience and/or Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field preferred
  • Three to five years of previous benefit administration.
  • Three to five years in an HR role
  • Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to compensation base and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
