SUMMARY:
In accordance with RNP's Mission Statement, Philosophy of Client Care and Code of Ethics as stated in the Personnel Policies and under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator, counsels individuals and/or groups regarding substance abuse problems and co-occurring disorders, and develops and implements a therapeutic treatment plan by performing the following duties.
Hours:
Every other Saturday-Sunday 12:00am-8:00am
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge & Skills Required: Knowledge of principles and techniques of basic case management, trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, problem solving and de-escalation techniques. Understanding of physical, psychological, social, and economic effects of substance abuse, homelessness, trauma, medical and mental health disorders. Knowledge of housing and community resources. Able to work with a team approach. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to facilitate groups. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and supervisors. Ability to assist with program development, and oversite. Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to project a professional image.
Position Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health and/or two (2) years’ experience in a related field working with co-occurring disorders; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
