Citizens Bank of Kansas, a fourth-generation family-owned community bank has a career opportunity for a Sr. Branch Manager.  This position is responsible for leading, coaching, motivating, and educating/developing a team of Branch Managers and in turn, retail teams in the Wichita Metro Area.

Responsibilities include:

• Coaching, leading, motivating and educating/developing the team toward individual, branch, and bank-wide goals. 
• Ensuring branch managers and retail teams are trained on new and existing retail products, services, systems, processes, and procedures. 
• Fostering an environment that promotes developing product/service knowledge and applying consultative selling and referral techniques. 
• Leading by example in providing superior customer service and follow-up, including developing, building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Coordinating retail functions of area branches. 
• Identifying and calling upon potential customers.                      
• Promoting and fostering teamwork across all areas of the bank.
• Partnering with Community Bank Presidents to provide leadership and guidance as needed.     

We are seeking friendly, organized, self-motivated candidates with:

• Three or more years of banking - with leadership/management experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Positive, energetic, and professional personality.
• Superior customer service abilities and ability to develop, build, and maintain relationships.
• Strong work ethic that supports a willingness to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform intermediate financial analysis under moderate supervision.
• Proficiency with computers and technology, specifically including Excel.
