**$2,000 SIGN ON BONUS**

Are you looking for meaningful work supporting adults with disabilities? Keshet is seeking a Program Manager who is caring, energetic and has a passion for helping adults lead fulfilling, independent lives within their communities.

 

Keshet's Program Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations, programming and staff supervision of the Adult Services GADOL program. This will include both direct services and administrative duties. The Program Manager will demonstrate and promote a strong work ethic, solution oriented thinking, practices to ensure a meaningful day for program participants and support the mission and values of Keshet.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Administrative Duties:

  • Oversee daily operations of the program, including but not limited to:  staffing, programming, scheduling, attendance and communications 

  • Hire, train, and supervise QIDP, Lead DSPs, DSPs, Art Teacher and Volunteers 

  • Complete annual performance reviews for all direct reports

  • Ensure data and documentation are completed accurately and timely (i.e., progress towards goals, behavior support plans and monthly QIDP summaries)

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community partners to support participants in achieving their desired goals

  • Maintain individual’s records to ensure these are kept current and complete

  • Represent the program as a member of the Behavior Management Committee

  • Comply with all internal and state regulations, including participation in all inspections, investigations, surveys and audits

  • Assist Director of Adult Services with planning and leading staff development activities

  • Assist in planning special events (art shows, talent shows, field days, etc.)

  • Complete and maintain safety care trainer certification and facilitate training for agency staff as needed

Staff Relations:

  • Lead regular staff meetings 

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, solution oriented thinking, open mindedness, active listening, good judgment, decisiveness, accountability and strategic thought 

  • Communicate expectations clearly and maintain a high level of accountability

  • Participate in the hiring, training and onboarding of new employees

  • Approve staff timecards for payroll

  • Ensure staff maintain current credentials

Program Specific Duties:

  • Create weekly program schedules based on needs, preferences and goals of participants

  • Build program curriculum and create materials as needed

  • Provide direct services as needed 

  • Ensure programming supplies and materials are available as needed

  • Maintain QIDP certification 

  • Complete quarterly safety drills

  • Adhere to all Keshet policies and procedures

  • Additional responsibilities as needed and assigned by Director, e.g. committee participation, in-service training for the agency, attendance at special meetings, etc.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in social services, human services, or related field

  • 2-5 years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities

  • At least 2 years of general management and supervisory experience

  • State of Illinois Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) certification preferred

  • Valid IL driver's license and safe driving record
