Job Summary

We are looking for a detail oriented, hardworking and enthusiastic individual for their Loan Servicer position!

The Loan Servicer is directly responsible for the loan accounting and maintenance function of the loan and overdraft protection portfolio. The Loan Servicer inputs new loans and overdraft protection accounts, processes payments and advances, and handles post-closing loan administration functions. Accuracy, timeliness, and a passion for exceptional customer service with both internal and external customers is key.


The Loan Servicer's responsibilities include:


  • Input Commercial, Consumer, Real Estate, Agriculture, SBA and Participation loans onto core loan accounting system.
  • Process loan payments, disbursements, participation payment/advances, reversals and transactions requiring special handling.
  • Process loan maintenance transactions, including posting of charge-off and non-accrual transactions.
  • Maintain tickler systems including but not limited to: financial statements, tax returns, borrowing bases, account receivable, UCC filings, escrowed and non-escrowed taxes and insurance.
  • Organize and maintain accurate loan file documentation via the FileBound/nCino archival system.
  • Balance the daily loan transaction report to general ledger control accounts.
  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Utilize core system, FIS, to obtain loan or deposit account information relating to an internal or external customer request.
  • Process paid loan documentation to include releasing and recording collateral documents (Lien releases, UCC terminations, etc.) and returning appropriate documentation to the customer.
  • Track and follow-up on new, existing and cancelled collateral insurance policies.
  • Monitor and maintain UCC records to include preparing and filing of all continuations, terminations and amendments.
  • Monitor and maintain escrow information to include: paying escrows and performing annual tax analysis function in a timely manner.
  • Regular attendance required

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous loan experience preferred
  • Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
  • Familiarity with loans and internal bank operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Tech savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office software and ability to adapt to new technology
