Summary of Position

This position provides the leadership of the student ministry of the Summit Church at the Campus. This includes program supervision, leadership development, and overseeing all spiritual instruction of 5th-12th grade students at Campus.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in student ministry preferred

  • Must be able to teach to both middle and high school audiences

  • Must be able to shepherd, supervise, and communicate with parents

  • Should be comfortable in counseling settings with both parents and students on a variety of issues

  • A member of The Summit Church or willing & able to become a member

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction and leadership for parents, students, volunteers, staff and the congregation on matters relating to student ministry

  • Oversees all student ministry programs on the campus level, such as Middle School Small Groups, Elevate, and High School Small Groups

  • Spearheads communication with students, parents, staff, and volunteers

  • Leads student ministry events as needed for parents, students, and volunteers

  • Functions as a member of the family ministry team at the Campus in conjunction with the Kids Pastor

  • Leads a campus ministry at local target schools
