Responsible for the both the Outside and Inside Sales Team as well as the overall sales performance of the region.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist with hiring, developing and measuring sales team (inside and outside)
  • Assist with growing customer base and increase market share
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the overall sales strategies
  • Maintain and develop individual book of business and customers in local territory
  • Report regularly to VP on market conditions and changes or relevant information
  • Work closely with Estimating to establish Account Manager involvement and follow-up
  • Establish sales objectives and targets by forecasting and developing monthly and annual sales expectations for each office location, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products and services.
  • Develop a system of measurements for sales force KPI’s utilizing in-house proprietary system and best practice standards
  • Analyze and evaluate sales opportunities for each market
  • Assure achieving assigned goals with minimum cost and best quality and in line with company’s policies and procedures.
  • Increase business opportunities through various routes to market.
  • Increase the selling performance of each sales team member
  • Develop and measure Inside Sales protocols and reporting
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Make recommendations regarding selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Work closely with marketing department to create programs, campaigns or customer events
  • Offer ideas and take initiatives in coordination with other concerned departments to issue a new offer, product or service
  • Maintain and develop a database for prospect customers
  • Ensure proper and timely response and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
  • Liaise and attend meetings with industry functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
  • Participate in relevant industry associations.
  • Actively develop and produce policies and produces for department or those that interact with department
  • Make recommendation for customers’ incentive and sales promotions

Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge or principles and methods for developing and implementing incentive programs

Education and Experience:

College degree in any related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience. Minimum five years of experience as a sales Manager, preferably in construction.
