Forklift Operator

Job Description:  

Neat Companies is looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team!   If you are looking for a career with a successful, locally owned company that has been in business for over 50 years then look no further! 

Duties:

• Stack merchandise and count inventory in-stock to fill orders
• Load/unload product from trailers
• Lift heavy materials onto pallets and secure them with cord or packaging
• Inspect goods before and after shipping to identify imperfections or damage
• Operate forklift safely while obeying company policies and safety requirements
• Work with their team to effectively & accurately move product or raw materials as needed to successfully fill all orders to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner
• Participate in keeping the work area free of debris including cleaning and manual loading/unloading

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license & forklift certification or ability to become certified
• Ability to stand, walk or sit on a forklift for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to work efficiently in an outdoor environment (100+degrees) to below freezing
• Must be able to wear and use appropriate protective equipment as necessary
