Group Sales Supervisor
Job Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a waterpark supervisor, this position will be knowledgeable about the day to day operation of the waterpark and the facility to ensure quality leadership of team members, as well as the ability to provide a high level of customer service to all guests.
  • Book group admission, meal packages and special event packages on the phone, in the office and online. Including processing payments and correctly documenting new bookings on appropriate spreadsheets and train other team members on these processes.
  • Follow up with accounts on reservation details, as well as opportunities to expand the booking and upsell items.
  • Coordinate and assist with large events like buyouts and Passholder Night, catering functions, the efforts of the birthday host, group check-ins and ticket pick-ups or deliveries.
  • Ensure that all items are prepared for group visits (tickets, wristbands, meal vouchers, special requests, collateral.)
  • Interact with group reservations upon arriving to the park to assist with ticket add-ons, bag checks and ensure entry to the park is efficient and pleasant.
  • Participate in the ongoing training of marketing and sales department team members and be responsible for their follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Assist with lead qualification and database development/management to grow existing customers and create new business.
  • Have awareness of all current promotional offers and group ticket categories.
  • Maintain excellent cash handling skills so that the transaction can be fast, friendly, and fun.
  • Ensure that team members are answering phones and emails in a timely manner and providing excellent customer service to guarantee the customer has a pleasant and informative experience
  • Complete or effectively delegate, office tasks, including photocopying, taking messages for various personnel, and other clerical tasks.
  • Responsible for coordinating opening and closing duties.
  • Communicate sales event details with other departments via various established tools like the daily department slip.
  • Follow all park policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
  • Comfortable on the phone and knowledge of phone etiquette and phone systems
  • Approachable, outgoing, and excited about suggestive selling
  • Microsoft Office Proficient. General knowledge of office equipment: phone, fax, copier, etc. preferred.
  • Ability to count money and make change; receive payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers, or debits.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend, lift, carry 25 lbs. and perform other physical duties involved with promotions and events.
