Learning and Development Coordinator

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Full-Time

 

Anders is looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator who will support the learning and development function of Human Resources. This position will support the Learning and Development Manager and other technical trainers in the scheduling and administration of internal and external training programs. The individual will also help administer the firm’s Learning Management System and track Continuing Professional Education credits. This position may also provide support through the identification, curation, and development of training content.

 

Position Responsibilities

Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Manage registration and reporting for all learning and development activities using Prolaera
  • Includes course and event creation in Prolaera
  • Includes activity and learning track creation and assignment in Prolaera
  • Track and monitor employee completion and certificates
  • Maintain relationships with LMS Provider for questions and support
  • Other LMS duties as assigned

 

Internal Learning Programs

  • Coordinate registration of staff for external learning events
  • Arrange and coordinate training sessions and schedules; including working with various external trainers
  • Coordinate all training materials (training guides, handouts, and other visual materials) and agendas for each session and send to presenters and attendees
  • Monitor all class/session enrollments; make changes as necessary
  • Work with proper parties on facility and equipment scheduling; including setting up classrooms, equipment, and additional materials
  • Manage course changes through effective and timely communication with attendees and presenters
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees prior to training sessions; evaluate feedback and effectiveness
  • Monitor and support remote training participants during hybrid learning events

 

Continuing Professional Education

  • Monitor continuing education for various licenses and certifications and ensure compliance is being met
  • Collect and record materials needed to offer CPE credits
  • Work with employees and leadership to schedule individuals to attend outside CPE learning sessions
  • Create and send CPE completion certificates to attendees

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain supplies and training materials
  • Assist with daily operation of the human resources group, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Communicate and model firm core values, mission and vision. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong organization and detail orientation skills
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
  • Outstanding organization, time management, administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently, be flexible and demonstrate high degree of confidentiality
  • Operates with a “service oriented” mindset; demonstrates initiative and desire to assist others
  • Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or Related Field
  • Minimum 1-2 years related work experience preferably working with company-wide training and development initiatives
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems; preferably Prolaera
  • Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite including PowerPoint
