Job Qualifications:                                                            

  1. BA in Accounting and CPA preferred.
  2. Preferred 5-7 years accounting experience
  3. Excellent mathematical, communication and computer skills, be strongly detail oriented and be able to easily multi-task.
  4. Should be able to independently initiate, prioritize, and perform or solve work problems and ultimately achieve work objectives and meet deadlines.
  5. Must be able to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with co-workers, supervisor   and management.
  6. Follow written (Standard Operating Procedures -SOP’s, company memos & emails) and verbal instructions.
  7. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
  8. Must be able to work independently and as a team member.

  10. Minimum of two years related experience with demonstrated aptitude to learn on-the-job.
  11. Possess a strong work ethic to positively contribute to the company’s mission and vision and environmental policy and quality policy.
  12. Must have a positive attitude, support co-workers to obtain desired objectives, and assist others in their contributions.
  13. Must be able to learn ERP to perform data entry & print reports.
  14. Ability to adapt to changing paces and processes quickly.
  15. Attentive to the task and own surroundings.

Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to maintain the financial records for the company working closely with the Corporate Controller.
 

Job Duties:

  1. Posting and review of payroll and related accrual accounts.
  2. Review of monthly close activities and reconciliations
  3. Analyze and post foreign currency translation entries and hedging transactions
  4. Assist in researching and resolving accounting issues
  5. Assist in documenting policies and procedures for finance department
  6. Assist in annual audit
  7. Assist with implementation of new systems, controls, policies and procedures to support growth and expansion
  8. Support for ad-hoc projects as required.
  9. Continuously look for ways to improve process efficiency and notify immediate supervisor of observations and recommendations.
  10. Meet with department supervisor and team members to assess progress and discuss needed changes. 
  11. Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
  12. Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow safety requirements.
  13. May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.
  14. Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
  15. Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.
  16. Must adhere to all company policies.
  17. Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
  18. Follow all SOPs in a given area.
  19. Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
