Job Description

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic storyteller to produce the visual and written content for our retail division’s social media platforms. This individual would use social media in a way that creates meaningful connection between our customers and the dynamic Thompson + Hanson brand.

 

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate is both aesthetics and data-driven. Responsibilities would include: designing consistent and relevant content on Instagram and Mailchimp, writing and editing social media posts, building social media audience, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.

This can be a full time or part time, remote position or a contract position.

 

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Designing and implementing social media strategies that grow the company audience and increase customer participation
  • Managing social media marketing tools to maintain the company’s brand
  • Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and implementing improvements
  • Researching social media trends and implementing new features to develop brand awareness, with interactive participation on social media
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
  • Developing and implementing ongoing social editorial and content calendar
  • Scheduling and posting content across various platforms
  • Creating, editing, and publishing graphic design projects
