Responsibilities

 

  • Administer, monitor, and develop programs under the Guest Care purview: Case management, Recovery Case Manager, and the FORT
  • Work closely with the Senior and Assistant Directors of Hope Place to establish and implement goals for Hope Place ministry
  • Work collaboratively across disciplines to identify individual needs to be addressed in order to facilitate an effective program planning
  • Maintain and improve community contacts to ensure referrals to community providers and support networks
  • Provide organizational, spiritual, and administrative leadership to all direct reports, including training, development, hiring, scheduling, goal setting/evaluations, and performance management (including corrective action)
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, disclose limited guest information as required by outside entities
  • Be an informed advocate in the area of homelessness, addiction, and domestic violence
  • Prepare monthly statistical and narrative reports as required
  • Produce and distribute schedules, maintain accurate and timely records and ensure that all guests are logged into Clarity upon arrival at the Mission
  • Assure the administration of urine tests and breathalyzers to Hope Place guests
  • A sound understanding of trauma-informed care
  • Attend and participate in Mission and departmental meetings and training
  • Participate in supervision, consultation, and training as appropriate for guest success
  • Position related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences or a related field is required.  A combination of education and 7 years of relatable experience may be substituted for a degree
  • 5 years of experience as a Case Manager or a related role in a recovery program is required
  • 2 years of previous supervisory experience is required
  • Proficient in working in a Customer Relations Management system (CRM),  such as Clarity is highly preferred 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with  advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

 

Work Environment

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment.  Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms.  Occasionally lifts up to 20 pounds and walks uses stairways to climb to multiple floors within the company.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
