The lead field technician is responsible for managing the day to day jobsite performance of field technicians. This person will have to install/service systems independently while checking in on active larger projects. This position is to ensure installations assigned to them will be installed in a professional and accurate manner meeting all the requirements of the project scope.

  4. Keep sales informed if they need to be involved with changes to scope

Supervisory Responsibility

Lead level field personnel will monitor and manage onsite labor to deliver a project on time and as designed.

Work Environment

This job operates in a multitude of locations. New construction sites, schools, offices and factory environments.  This position also operates in various weather environments outdoors and indoors.

Physical Demands

The physical demands are driven by the needs of our employees and customers.  This can mean long hours to get the job accomplished.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 100 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may also require long hours and out of town travel.


Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Must have High School diploma or GED
