Under the general supervision of the Director of the Office of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Coordinator provides assistance to students, faculty and administrators of the University answering questions regarding student accounts, general financial aid inquiries, and enrollment and registration.     




  1. Assist students and families with general questions regarding financial aid applications, loans and other forms.
  2. Assist students and families with questions, inquires, or requests regarding financial aid programs and eligibility (ie FAFSA, KHEAA verify, etc).
  3. Collect general financial aid documents and communicate with students/parents if forms are incomplete or needed.   
  4. Respond to inquiries and resolve problems or make the appropriate referral.
  5. Assist with federal work study process flow.
  6. Assist with running processes within the student operating system necessary for support and flow of financial aid office procedures.
  7. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  8. Attend workshops and open house events as required.

High school diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Financial Aid experience a plus.  Experience with Colleague Financial Aid Module a plus.   Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task.  Proficient in Excel
