Summary of Position 

To work alongside Pastor of Local Outreach to implement local outreach strategic initiatives as well as individual campus plans.  This includes both systems development/management and coaching.  Work will include a variety of areas including prison ministry, internationals, crisis ministries, etc.  


Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Interested in dedicated Gospel-centered outreach, relief, and community development initiatives in a full-time ministry capacity or comparable required

  • Ability to support and coach both members and staff

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail 

  • Proficient in creating, implementing and managing systems

  • A member or willing and able to become a member of The Summit Church



  • Helping define, develop, and implement community development opportunities and programs in support of our church’s focus on ministries serving neighbors to both proclaim and demonstrate the gospel.

  • Supporting ministries as they mobilize, train and release volunteer ministers to the community to meet urgent and ongoing needs, help develop communities and empower lay champions, and establish Christ-centered relationships for the expressed purpose of pointing those that don't yet know Christ to Christ and proclaiming the Gospel where it hasn't been heard.

  • Help maintain and coordinate with in-community partnerships such as organizations, churches, and individuals that can be used to further opportunities for ministry to the community.

  • Work with church leadership and team to determine, clarify, and communicate the vision of the Summit's local and domestic outreach and missions (including goals, strategy, and core ethos).
