The Opportunity.

Winterlights is an outdoor light event that highlights the beauty of select Trustees properties. The gardens at three of our most popular historic homes, Naumkeag in Stockbridge, The Bradley Estate in Canton, and Stevens-Coolidge in North Andover will sparkle with thousands of shimmering holiday lights.

The Seasonal Winterlights Steward reports to the Stewardship Manager, and works as a member of the team to deliver excellent standards of visitor service at the Bradley Estate. These include, but are not limited to, admissions check-in, retail and concessions sales, and event setup. The position also supports stewardship projects and provides support for this specific event as assigned. Winterlights at the Bradley Estate will run from November 19-January 9 with a possible extension beyond January 9th. The event is open to the public Wednesday-Sunday from 4:30-8:30 PM each day, shifts run 3:30-9:00 PM each day. Flexible scheduling of work days is available. There also may be opportunities to work with the team both before the event opening day and after closing to install and retire the exhibits. The hourly wage for this job is $15.00/hour.


In This Role You Will: 

  • Support day of event stewardship and visitor experience needs through admission, retail support, concessions, visitor wayfinding, while maintaining clean and functioning facilities.

  • Support the Winterlights team to produce a successful event.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Retail or Customer service experience a plus.

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member.

  • Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and projects, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

  • Strong commitment to the mission of The Trustees of Reservations.

  • Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
