We’re seeking a unique individual who will embody the heart and soul of the Fort Worth Stockyards while caring deeply about our brand and community – someone who acts as an extension of our mission, values, and culture. We are seeking an individual who will whole-heartedly take responsibility for ensuring Hotel Drover successfully delivers Legendary Service to every guest, every day.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Embody the values and principles of Hotel Drover
  • Perform preventative maintenance responsibilities on all guest rooms as assigned
  • Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas as assigned
  • Report all deficiencies that exist during your daily routine property inspection.
  • Properly perform painting and wall repairs.
  • Perform basic maintenance repairs.
  • Perform basic plumbing and sprinkler repairs.
  • Perform daily required pool maintenance.
  • Records - to read, log, track and interpret readings from meters, gauges and other measuring units. To maintain a thorough log of each day's activities and problems that occur and to ensure this information is passed on to other shifts
  • Energy Conservation - to observe energy and utilities usage in The Hotel. To look for ways to conserve energy and report any ideas to the Engineering Management.
  • Willingness to be trained and comprehend the OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Willingness to be trained on where all emergency disconnects, valves and shutoffs are located and comprehend on how to operate them all.
  • Willingness to be certified in pool operations.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.

Must be able to move, lift, carry and push items weighing up to 50-100lbs without assistance. Candidates must be able to utilize step stools and ladders effectively.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Kitchen Equipment trouble shooting/ Refrigeration experience required 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques.
