Description

Do you have a solid background in plumbing repairs and customer service? Do you enjoy the challenge of diagnosing and resolving a problem from beginning to end? Facilities Resource Group is looking for enthusiastic problem solvers who can trouble shoot and implement plumbing solutions over the phone for our customers. On-call rotation (with bonus pay) will be required after training period.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to inbound calls from customers on plumbing issues.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot the issue and resolve the problem.
  • Schedule FRG technicians and/or subcontractors to diagnose and repair complex matters.
  • Order parts as necessary.
  • Appropriate invoicing.
  • Follow up with customers to explain work completed and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently and accurately document all work complete.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of general plumbing experience. Water heater experience is a plus!
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle customer interactions appropriately and work with subcontractors and FRG colleagues.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Familiar with the use of smartphones, tablets, text messaging, and email.
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings including background check and drug screen.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot problems and find a solution.
  • Good driving record and willingness to travel on occasional, out-of-town repairs (10% travel)
  • Ability to handle pressure and demonstrate a "can-do" attitude.
