PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Under the general direction of the Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for the timely receiving of incoming shipments from domestic and international vendors. Provides routing/delivery to apporpriate and /or departments; maintains pertinent computer records and files. Assisst in the daily Cycle Counting function.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Listed in order of significance to the job):
Receives all incoming shipments. Provides verification for correctness. Checks shipment against purchase order for shortages; reports discrepancies to Warehouse Manager. Receives purchase orders into computer inventory.
Repackage material as necessary or requested by Warehouse Manager
Receives RGA's into computer and inspects material.
Maintains records and files of all received items on a daily basis.
Assists Warehousing staff with Cycle Count functions on a daily basis.
Performs other duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager or as required.
Replaces missing parts on HOLD items and moves items to its warehouse locations.
Performs other duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager or as required by the company.
