The COVID Vaccinator is responsible for performing delegated clinical, clerical, and administrative duties within the supervising physician’s scope of practice consistent with the vaccinator’s education, training, and experience. Duties will include administering COVID vaccines and documenting vaccine administration.

  • Prepares examination room and all needed equipment for each patient, restocking each room as needed.
  • Maintains documentation in a clinical record to ensure accurate tracking of the patients’ COVID vaccination
  • Monitors patients before, during, and after vaccine administration.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
  • Follows appropriate procedures and protocols while handling vaccinations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned to maintain strong working relationships with other departments ensuring a continuous flow of services.

High School Diploma/GED; Experience in healthcare setting preferred, Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse preferred.
