Position can be Remote or from any of our locations.

The Grants and Fund Development Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing development, coordination and writing of grants and other fund development initiatives.  The position is also responsible for managing the funds management and reporting of grant funded projects.  This position is responsible for writing and submitting grant applications as well as managing all steps of the grant application and management process.  This position will also assist with fund development activities, donor & gift management, and community and stakeholder engagement activities.

• Develop and maintain relationships with a network of funding organizations (ex. foundations, government bodies, corporations) and individuals to create and support initiatives to strengthen the Health Center
• Write proposals and grants to fund Health Center activities
• Actively monitor Program Proposal approvals and identify and cultivate grant opportunities and prospective donors, that will support approved programs.
• Seek a regular flow of external grant funds to supplement and enhance organizational priorities
• Write and submit the proposals and grant applications, with input as appropriate from staff, Board and strategic partners
• Maintain strong practices on all grant reporting (both progress reports and final reports), assuring completion as needed
• Maintain donor database.
• Implement solid internal communication practices with grant development, workplan progress and deliverables and wrap up reporting.
• Write letters of inquiry, grant proposals, progress reports, acknowledgment letters, and other correspondence to prospective foundations, corporations, individuals and government agencies.​
• Gather and prepare all ancillary materials to accompany grants (financial data, bios, required forms, etc.) working collaboratively with other departments as required.​
• Monitor trends and opportunities for grant development.​
• Subscribe to and monitor newsletters, websites and other information to identify grant opportunities.
• Develop data resources to track and plan for grant opportunities
• Develop a process to communicate grant opportunities  to health center leaders and staff.
• Work with Finance staff to develop grant budgets and on financial reporting and financial management tasks.
• Lead development of projects to facilitate grant applications.
• Develop and maintain content and information management processes to facilitate grant application.
• Other duties as assigned

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with funders and donors is essential. The individual must possess the knowledge of Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint. Prior success in grant writing is essential.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field desired. Three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
