The Parts House (TPH) is the fastest growing Direct-to-the-Installer parts supplier in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Puerto Rico. We carry 180,000 different part numbers covering 185 product lines from dozens of Manufactures.


TPH is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to visit and manage accounts in the local market area.

The Outside sales Representative (OSR) will make outbound sales visits to previous and existing customers and qualified prospects. Call on prospective client businesses to develop relationships.

Responsibilities: Sales

  • Achieve individual sales growth plan within assigned account base
  • Sign up new accounts and grow sales within new accounts

1. Seek referrals from current customers regarding potential new accounts

2. Be vigilant to new customer opportunities within assigned sales territory

  • Cultivate stocking customer to expedite service
  • Review sales reports daily

1. Be aware of individual performance plan

2. Create action plan to react to declining sales customers

3. Monitor assigned account activity to assure account base is accurate

  • Effectively promote monthly specials and promotions
  • Effectively promote value added services (On-line ordering, THTR, Training Clinics, etc.)
  • Work cooperatively with store / operations personnel to improve customer service and resolve customer issues
  • Work effectively with vendor representatives

Sales Calls / Call Reports

  • Conduct sales calls within established training protocol
  • Fully document all sales calls immediately after each visit
  • Review call reports with the AM/DM or store Managers daily

Attendance / Work Schedule / Territory Management

  • In the field calling on assigned customer base an average of eight hours per day
  • Effectively evaluate each assigned customer as to frequency of sales call contact
  • Contact assigned store(s) management daily
  • Availability of 7:30am to 6:30pm by cell on workdays Monday Saturday
  • Attend meetings, clinics and association functions as scheduled
  • Dress codemust always maintain a professional appearance in front of customers and work-related functions

Special Projects

  • Assist with AR Collections when needed
  • Complete all projects that are assigned to you by your supervisor


Physical Demands: Typical 9-hour day sitting and answering incoming calls, heavy computer usage to enter orders. Occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.

Compensation: The OSRs compensation is salary + monthly bonus based on sales and market growth.
