Pay Rate: $15.00 plus an additional $4.22 per hour for benefits package (Major Health, Dental, Vision) available after the first 30 days of employment.

Monday thru Friday 4 pm till 12:30 am or we have Part-time Shift available too. 

Paid Federal Holidays, Paid sick time, 2 weeks Paid time off after one year employment .

All transportation is provided by the company; no personal vehicles are required other than to arrive for work 

All cleaning supplies/PPE provided by company.




The Fort Carson Custodian (“Custodian”) performs work under the authority of the Fort Carson custodial contract (“contract”) and follows all supervision, direction and oversight to meet contract-related guidelines, provisions and goals.




  • Safety
    • Follow procedures in the safe use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
    • Follow safety procedures to check electrical appliances and equipment prior to use
    • Notify supervisor with recommendations about equipment repair and replacement
    • Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
  • Custodial
    • Mixes and prepares cleaning solutions according to manufacturer specifications and PDI safety guidelines
    • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor
    • Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture
    • Dusts furniture and equipment and polishes metalwork
    • Washes walls, ceiling and woodwork
    • Washes windows, door panels and sills
    • Empties wastebaskets
    • Transports trash and waste to disposal area
    • Replenishes bathroom supplies
    • Sweeps, mops, scrubs and vacuums hallways and office space
    • Transports small equipment or tools between departments
    • Sets up tables and chairs in lunchroom, work centers and other areas as required



You must be age 21 or over to work at PDI.  You must also pass a pre-hire drug and background screen as well as random drug screens that may occur at any time and without notice while employed by PDI.  You must be computer-literate, comfortable with technology with well-developed oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with individuals served, staff and support agencies.  Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile people within the PDI environment.  Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.




The Custodian will work at PDI’s customer facility at Fort Carson, Colorado.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable persons with disabilities to perform essential functions.

While performing the duties of this job, the Custodian is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather).  The Custodian is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can become loud and hectic.




This is a non-exempt, full-time position.  Hours worked Monday through Friday may vary based on work requirements.  Routine evening, weekend and holiday hours may be required to meet contract specifications and PDI needs.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and taste or smell.
