Description

 

The Offshore Fund Operations Associate will be responsible for a variety of assignments in connection with the Offshore Fund Operations Group servicing DoubleLine Funds (Luxembourg)/UCITS and DoubleLine Cayman Unit Trust. This position will primarily cover the oversight of the transfer agent and account servicing but will also touch UCITS country registration and maintenance, distribution and sale, and DoubleLine’s trailer fee program.

 

 

Job Functions

  • Assist with UCITS and Cayman Fund account opening, large transactions, trade reporting, and ongoing account maintenance
  • Serve as the primary contact for UCITS and Cayman Fund for transfer agent matters
  • Act as a transfer agent subject matter expert and assist in the establishment of intermediary agreements, requests for proposal, and fund information data requests
  • Monitor daily trading activity and communicate with portfolio management teams and Trade Management Group
  • Facilitate and assist clients with satisfying anti-money laundering documentation
  • Act as a liaison with Relationship Management, Fund Accounting, and the Legal Department
  • Review and resolve escalated transfer agent matters
  • Help facilitate data management and information distribution as it pertains to DoubleLine’s international fund products (e.g. board and committee materials)
  • Assist with sub-fund and share class transitions (launches, liquidations, prospectus updates, etc.)

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS in Finance or related field preferred.      
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting fund operations within an investment management firm.
  • General understanding of the mutual funds, UCITS, and/or offshore funds of a buy-side investment management firm.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income and derivative instruments a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all areas of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and must possess strong integrity and professionalism.
  • Organized and able to track and prioritize multiple tasks.
