As a Customer Experience Specialist you will:

  • Identify customers' needs and reactions and make appropriate recommendations or take action to satisfy their needs or solve a problem. Handle telephone calls with professionalism and follow up on any action needed related to each transaction.
  • Handle service complaints or situations through effective problem solving techniques. Refer the most difficult situations to the Information Specialist Supervisor.
  • Answer questions from callers about bank products and services and attempts to cement any potential bank relationships through effective phone skills and abilities.
  • Perform other customer service duties over the phone such as check ordering, account reconciliation services, etc.
  • Provide customers and bank associates with internet banking support; reset access to customers as needed; Process Jump Start applications; Respond to secure mail messages.
  • Complete Verification of Deposit forms and other deposit-related inquiries received from government entities, other financial institutions and private or public businesses.
  • Review daily reports and data entry forms; Perform information verification and account maintenance as needed; Initiate customer contact if necessary.
  • Receive and attempt to resolve mail returned to the bank as undeliverable; Research customer and accounts for new address; Obtain appropriate documentation prior to changing an address; Work with branch associates to resolve the issues.
  • Respond to basic questions on loan products and services; Forward more complicated requests to the Loan Department.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Promote quality customer services to both internal and external customers and promotes teamwork among other bank departments and offices through the use of referrals and support services.
  • Handle Contract Services calls and connect the customer with the right vendor. Transfer escalated calls to Contract Services representative.
  • Complete Verification of Deposit forms and other deposit-related inquiries received from government entities, other financial institutions and private or public businesses.
  • Review daily reports and data entry forms; Perform information verification and account maintenance; Initiate customer contact as needed.

 

Qualifications for Success:

Ideal candidate will be able to work 4 or 8 hour shifts between the hours of 5AM to midnight Monday - Sunday.

Remote work is available for candidates so long as the candidate has appropriate high-speed internet. 

Must be able to travel to a location during the training process.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
