The Warehouse Operations Manager is primarily responsible for incoming and outbound shipments of equipment and small wares.  Part of their duties are to load/unload trucks, store and pull product, operate warehouse equipment, and maintain accurate inventory within the Warehouse. They work closely with Logistics, Customer Success, Print Shop Production, and Purchasing to manage/monitor inbound and outbound packaging material levels. Previous warehouse experience, forklift operation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a plus. The ability to work on both the Dry and Frozen side of the Warehouse which will include working in extreme temperatures is required.  Responsible for managing discrepancies with inventory, shipping, and receiving.  The role also works with all disciplines of the company regarding the development of documents, SOP’s, training guides and processes which drive continuous improvement.

  • Process all inbound and outbound paperwork to ensure real time data in computer system for all transactions including but not limited to shipping, billing, receiving.
  • Act as a back up to shipping and receiving coordinator.
  • Assist with weekly inventory cycle counts and work with Accounting to research and resolve all discrepancies.
  • Maintain and organize shipping supplies.
  • Assist in warehouse on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in handling inbound phone traffic.
  • Process inbound/outbound paperwork.
  • Process and add shipping cost to inbound PO’s.
  • Coordinate all outbound UPS & Fed Ex shipments and follow up on missing end of day paperwork.
  • Check in/out drivers delivering or picking up loads.
  • Direct all drivers to dock doors with instructions on proper pick-up &/or delivery protocol.
  • Handle all incoming/outgoing small packages and notify the recipient/employee of their package.
  • Process all inventory requests for demos; pick the product and have it ready for the RM’s.
  • Develop processes, SOP’s and train associates on warehouse information systems and programs.
  • Handle call orders and customer pick-ups.
  • Handle all small ware orders and shipping.
  • Keep an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
  • Assist Warehouse with LTL freight scheduling.
  • Update Inbound Load Board as needed.
  • Develop & maintain housekeeping and 5-S Program in assigned areas.
  • Use pallet jack and/or forklift to unload trucks when needed.
  • Ship all outbound equipment orders when needed.
  • Execute ERP & WMS system implementation.
  • Develop & execute inventory process & procedures for Print Shop.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to insure correct inventory levels equipment, parts, small wares and print shop materials.
  • Perform all other duties as required.

  • Minimum of a high school education and 2 years of factory or distribution center related experience in shipping and receiving
  • Proficient in the development of SOP’s, training guides, and processes
  • Understand operation of various types of warehouse equipment (computer, printer, fax, copier, etc.)
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Participate effectively in a team environment by demonstrating a positive attitude and in a timely manner
  • Works in a team atmosphere by participating in group discussions and decisions and being flexible when role changes are necessary
  • Take the initiative to seek new ways to do things by considering alternative approaches to common problems
  • Previous experience with automated Warehouse Management systems integrated with ERP legacy computer system is a preferred
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience preferred
  • Previous experience leading Continuous Improvement projects
  • Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
  • Able to perform but not limited to the following tasks, be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter data accurately into the purchase order and processing database to acknowledge receipt of the goods
  • Capable of calculating weights and use that information to calculate the shipping cost
  • Familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements  
  • Familiar with the most common material handling equipment
  • Licensed forklift truck operator
  • Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software desirable
  • Effective verbal and written communication


  • Employee must work in extreme temperatures, from warehouse to freezer, which is -10 to 40 degrees.
