SUMMARY
Collects past due balances, records payments to customers' accounts and maintains accounts receivable records by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Posts payments to Account Receivable.
Researches all debits, deductions, etc.
Updates Accounts Receivable customers’ accounts.
Answers A/R inquires, and credit inquires.
Mails or e-mails monthly statements.
Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up.
E-mails or calls customers weekly for payment schedules, as needed.
Weekly collection calls, fax correspondence or e-mail correspondence.
Updates accounts credit information.
Processes all new credit applications.
Enters pricing-discount specials in computer.
Handles all “credit holds” – interacting with warehouses.
Mails correspondence to customers, as needed.
Handles billing and filing.
Assists in processing credit card transactions.
Handles the processing of credit memos including researching, issuing and e-mailing.
Assists with auditors’ reports, as needed.
Assists with related special projects, as required.
