Position Summary

Position Summary

The Digital Audience Solution Business Developer drives sales across the digital marketing ecosystem.  The Business Developer’s role is to quickly grasp the client’s marketing objectives and partner with Account Leaders and Product and Delivery teams to build successful audience targeting strategies to stimulate client adoption, as well as establish a solid foundation for accelerating revenue growth.  The Business Developer role is to lead, motivate, and enable Sales teams to be effective and successful.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Builds, maintains, and manages the digital audience sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Quarterbacks a cross-functional operational team of technical, marketing, and agency resources to successfully scope, implement and manage solutions involving digital marketing capabilities; onboarding, campaign execution platforms, analytic solutions, DMP (Data Management Platforms), and other digital platforms
  • Provide Thought Leadership in the licensing ecosystem; analyze emerging trends, develop new strategies, and share best practices with stakeholders
  • Author the “go to market” playbook and drive adoption of sales enablement materials
  • Coordinate appropriate communication, internally and externally, around issues and/or escalations that arise during the implementation and ongoing marketing operations of the Claritas digital audience targeting solution
Skills, Education and Experience

Skills, Education and Experience

  • Bachelors’ degree required; MBA a plus
  • 10+ years’ experience working across Business Development, Sales, Product Marketing, Account Management and Customer Delivery, with demonstrated success selling to media agencies, advertisers, and media companies
  • 10+ years in front of senior clients; possess excellent commercial instincts
  • Experience with digital ad buying and execution, DMPs, SSPs, digital publishers, data platforms and agencies, data appends, and the 3rd party data ecosystem
  • A strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem with a passion in audience targeting solutions that deliver on advertising KPIs
  • Experience landing and leading large business development deals, and demonstrated commercial excellence in the marketing/advertising ecosystem
  • Strong track record of cross-functional internal relationship-building success
  • Strong ability to analyze situations and manage projects; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation delivery skills, presenting to senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven history of developing and successfully implementing scalable solutions to complex problems within a rapidly evolving organization.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
