REPORTS TO:            Director of Physical Plant

CLASSIFICATION:      Non-exempt

REMOTE WORK: No

JOB SUMMARY: Must have a good work ethic and positive attitude. The groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of the grounds, amenities, building exteriors/interiors, parking lots, and other community buildings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work independently.
• Pick up trash on the property and in common areas, which includes but is not limited to, driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacles, and any other community areas.
• Work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and/or weather conditions
• Walk, bend, lift for an extended periods of time
• Daily walk the grounds; clean and maintain common areas.
• Perform assigned grounds and maintenance tasks in an organized and timely manner.
• All other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking and/or working outdoors.
