Our Sr Rail Engineer will lead major rail related projects and programs throughout the United States.  Location can be flexible throughout the Midwest and Texas, but residence in/around Irving, TX is preferred. 

Primary Duties:

  • Lead all technical engineering aspects of projects, production of deliverables, subconsultants, contracts, etc.
  • Lead the technical engineering team to meet client and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead technical engineering efforts and assist project design/program management to meet the schedule, budget, and scope – RailPros team and sub-consultants.
  • Assist Project Managers to manage cost and schedule data, reports, and scope changes.
  • Assist Project Managers to manage contract task orders, change orders, expiration dates, budgets and expenditures.
  • Coordinate and lead technical project meetings and assist the project manager in the follow up process/resolutions.
  • Lead training efforts and skills building of technical design team.







Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • PE required.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Railroad track design experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using and MicroStation required.
  • Experienced expert in InRoads, InRail, and/or Geopak required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bentley OpenRail Experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • Business Development Experience
  • MS in Civil Engineering
